In many towns, there are limitations on the work an unlicensed person may do… even the owner of the home. There are also distinctions made between what an unlicensed homeowner can do and what an unlicensed tradesman can do.
There are also distinctions made within kinds of electrical work. Appliance setting-up, for example, is always not considered disallowed electrical work if the original wiring and connection was made by a authorised electrician.

That is why there is an electrical code, so everybody is familiar on the correct and wrong path to perform an electrical wiring and tuning. If every household was wired under a random standard, how could anyone without paranormal abilities discover how to repair a circuit?
We are not trying to prevent you from learning and enriching your abilities. We wouldn’t have little chance of doing it, anycase. But you should know by now that we are a strong advocate of independence and self-reliance. But if one person burnt his home down because he was thinking that he could do that electrical job, and was not sufficiently OK to do the job|task right… well, that is not what we had in mind when started this energoproject. We have seen some electrical wiring disasters throughout Russia, and major share|most were done by homeowners who thought that doing electrical wiring|work was no more deserving of care than cleaning the backyard!
